The Master Review
Alright, so this is my first review in about two months, so I’m going to be a little rusty here, so forgive me.
Officially for me the Holiday film season started when Paul Thomas Anderson’s newest endeavor, The Master came out a few weeks ago. Anderson is known for making very bold choices in his films, with the exceptionally dark undertone of Daniel Day Lewis’ performance in...
New Work Regimen
So I know it has been a while since I’ve posted anything. I’m going to work hard at making sure I’m getting one review a week out. Working on a couple right now. Watch for my thoughts on The Master, Looper, and Pitch Perfect!

Lincoln Trailer Released
It was earlier this week that the trailer for Steven Spielberg’s latest picture, Lincoln was released to the internet and the world. Now many have known that this project has been in the rumor mill for several years now, and has been affirmed when on set pictures of Daniel Day Lewis as the sixteenth president were released.
Now watching this trailer for myself, I think this...

New X-Men Movie (YEAH, more crap via Brian Singer)
Well, Brian Singer announced today that Marvel will be making an X-Men: First Class sequel. They’re calling this, no joke, X-Men: Days of Future Past. I’m sorry that sounds like the most ridiculous title for a superhero movie. You might as well call it Rise of the Butt Munchers. Not to mention that I think this series has already shot itself in the foot.
First Class wasn’t that...

THE HOBBIT IS A TRILOGY!!!
It is official! Peter Jackson has just announced that The Hobbit, will be adapted into a trilogy. Now there are some who are a bit skeptical about why Jackson has decided this move when the book was originally to be translated into two films. Some speculate it was a big influence from New Line Cinema’s to possibly capitalize on more box office revenue. There is an answer to all...

Rock of Ages Review
I know it’s been a little while since I’ve done any reviews, but my funds have been a bit short to see anything new. But here we go. This review is for the star studded rock musical, Rock of Ages
Now I’ve never seen the stage production, but have nothing but good things. I do own the cast recording to have an idea of what this is about. So I won’t be doing any side by side comparisons...

The Avengers Review
(Warning, this may be my longest review, ever.)
I shouldn’t have to say much other than these two words, The Avengers! I’m someone who anticipates for two times of the year as a film kid, the summer and winter seasons. These are always the best times to see movies, because they are typically the best ones that come out. Now if you haven’t heard about this film, then you must’ve been sleeping...

Good Will Hunting Review
I’d heard of this film for some time now, and I had no idea what it was about. It was on sale for ten bucks on Amazon, so I figured even if I didn’t like it, it’s only ten bucks. My opinion of this is completely the opposite.
For people who don’t know what this is about, I’ll let you in on the beginning. This film is about a young man named Will Hunting, an orphan who lives in the...
The Triplets of Belleville Review
I wasn’t really planning to write a review for this film, but it was so good, and I’m already up late, so I might as well to do something productive.
I’d never heard of this movie until a few nights ago while I was hanging at my friend’s house. She knew that I like to indulge in some artsy films every now and again, so she recommends we watch it. I didn’t know anything about it, other...
Hunger Games Review
Now anyone who knows me can tell you that I was ridiculously excited for this movie. I saw the trailer for it a few months ago and thought this looks pretty good. So I got the first book for Christmas and fell in love with the story and the characters. Then I read through the other two within the month. These became my favorite books. Now from seeing the film last night with a couple of friends,...

The Godfather Review
When people talk about The Godfather, many things can come to mine. How Marlon Brando never accepted his Oscar for Best Actor because he thought it was unfair of how the entertainment business was portraying Native Americans, or how it launched Al Pacino’s career from stage to screen, or how halfway through the film, Paramount was seriously considering firing Francis Ford Coppola from directing...
Your Highness Review
This review will probably be short because I haven’t done one in a while. The movie that I’m reviewing is Your Highness, starring James Franco, Danny McBride, and Natalie Portman. This was one of the biggest pieces of crap I’ve seen in a while. The cast was terrible, writing was tasteless, and jokes were poorly executed. This movie doesn’t go anywhere close to being even remotely funny.
The plot...

The Secret World of Arrietty
When coming into this movie, I didn’t really know what to expect, other than knowing that it was based off of the novel, The Borrowers. I’d seen a few other Studio Ghibli films, and enjoyed them so I decided to go see this with a couple of friends. I thouroughly enjoyed this film. Filled with the heart and soul of a movie that can be enjoyed by all ages.
The story begins with the...
